Going to Madrid!

Hello, guys! How are you doing today?

I’m writing this journal in order to let you know that I’ve been away from DA – and I’ll still be away from DA – because of a trip. Right now it’s Monday evening in Spain, almost bedtime, and on Wednesday morning I will be travelling to Madrid, the capital of my country, with my boyfriend

I honestly cannot wait for this trip anymore. I need it so much! I can’t wait to visit Madrid: its parks, its squares, its famous monuments like Cibeles and Puerta de Alcalá, its famous museums like El Prado... And its stores as well, I must admit it, since there are many stores and cafés that cannot be found in my city. But Madrid is the capital. You can find there any store you want

And there’s also the book fair in the Retiro Park! I don’t know if it’s known outside Spain, but Madrid’s book fair is said to be one of the biggest book events in the world – and I’m going to be there in just a few days more! You know I love reading and there will be many Spanish writers that I love in the book fair, so I just NEED to meet them and ask them to sign their books for me. OMG I want it so hard!

Okay, I better stop fangirling

Anyways, this is the main reason why I haven’t visited DA nor posted anything in the last week. As I mentioned in my last journal, I’m not drawing anything at the moment, but I’ve been working on a fanfic – it’s just not ready yet, and this last week I haven’t found the time to work on it either

There's only one day more (Les Miserables ) before the trip and I’m going to spend it getting everything ready – the books I’m taking with me, how to place them in my suitcase so they will all fit in, all the papers I need to take with me for the journey... In a word: madness

So I won’t have any time to spend in here. Today I’ve been basically warning everybody that I’ll be away for a few days through my social network, like twitter or Instagram, but DA works differently. There are many pictures to be seen, many comments and notes to answer, many journals to read... And I’m sorry, but that was just too much for today. I mean, it’s too much for one day when you’re having a trip in less than 48 hours

I would have liked to answer everything before leaving, but now I see it’s impossible. I’m afraid you guys will have to wait. I’m really, really sorry, but I promise you something: once I’m back home, I’ll make an effort to visit DA at least once a week. Even if I can’t answer every comment nor see every deviation, at least I’ll try and let you guys know I’m alive, and I think of you, and I miss spending some time with you, and I love you all

This is all for today. I hope you all understand that a trip means being extra-busy, but I haven’t forgotten about you
