A few days went by and Peach hadn’t still managed to find Mario.
Every day was like the one before: a Goomba came into her room in the morning in order to wake her up and bring her breakfast, which she ate totally alone. Then the same Goomba came back and took her to the bathroom, where she was allowed to have some privacy. Once she had cleaned herself, she was leaded to Bowser’s Throne Room and forced to stay with him and his kids the rest of the morning.
After lunch, however, King Koopa would let her go to any part of the castle – except for the West Wing, which remained watched by many minions. Peach was curious abo

When he fell down the palm tree, darkness surrounded him.
But it only lasted for a second.
He immediately woke up – or that was what he thought, at least.
Only that he wasn’t wearing his overalls and his green shirt, like he used to.
Luigi blinked, disoriented, and tried to see something among the mist. He was feeling pain all over his body, but there was no sand under his back – instead, he could sense a comfortable mattress and a warm blanket covering him.
But it wouldn’t relief pain.
As his vision cleared, he could see a high roof over his head and yellow walls surrounding him. He blinked again and tried t

It was as if he were dead.
He felt like flying. Like floating. Like if he could reach the greatest bliss ever.
He didn’t want it to stop.
But he felt like it should stop. He felt as if there were something he had to do.
He simply couldn’t recall what it was.
He tried to remember. What had happened before he reached that state? What had happened before cloud nine?
It was as if there had only been happiness in his entire life, but he knew it wasn’t true. He knew there must be something more than that. He knew he must have walked in the sunlight and danced in the moonlight. He must have laughed and cried. He must have

When she woke up, the first thing she realized was that she was lying on a comfy bed.
Peach opened her eyes. Her head hurt, but she decided to stand up and look around. She couldn’t remember anything that had happened before she fell asleep. Where had she been? And – where was she now? That red and black room didn’t look at all like her castle...
Then she saw a painting hanging from one of the walls.
And it made her remember.
‘Bowser!’
King Koopa was staring at her from his picture. He looked as arrogant and self-centered as he actually was. Peach frowned, feeling angry just by looking at that canvas. O

The inhabitants of Birabuto Desert, in the land of Sarasaland, woke up that morning with something new in their sands.
There was someone lying next to the oasis. The Bunbuns were the first ones to see him. It was a young man in green and blue, but he was sleeping in a weird position. The leader of the Bunbuns flew closer to him, and then she saw there was blood next to the stranger’s head.
She quickly flew to the closest pyramid and warned the Gao that lived there. The Gao came out of her home and approached the oasis, but she saw there was a Goombo with the young man. Some more Goombos were coming closer, curious of their visitor,

Kamek couldn’t believe his luck.
When he had emerged out of the passage in the middle of the night, he knew that he had to track down that green wimp immediatly. He told his minions to search for him under every sand grain, even if they took the whole night and day to do so, and then he had climbed to the dune that acted as a door to the passage they had just left behind.
And, when he had looked around, he had seen him.
Green ‘Stache was right there. So close he could almost touch him.
The moonlight had allowed Kamek to see that Mario’s stupid brother was trying to climb up a palm tree next to an oasis his minions had

Luigi ran as if his life depended on it.
Which was actually the case.
The passage was long, dark and cold. He had not had the time to go to the kitchen and get something to eat or drink, so he hoped he’d reach the end as soon as possible. He had never gone through the passage, in fact, so he didn’t know what he was going to find there.
He just kept running.
And when he got too tired to keep running, he slowed down and continued walking.
There were some torches hung on the walls, so Luigi was not surrounded by a complete darkness. He was able to see where he stepped on, but he could also see the passage went on and on. Luig
